I have been in the repair business since I was old enough to help my dad in the garage. An automotive technician himself, he taught me everything he knew. I quickly realized I had a natural talent for understanding how things worked, how they were put together and how to improve them.
I took high school auto and small engine class every year and hour that I could. After graduation I went to work for Jaguar of Troy where I became certified by Jaguar cars. For my 18th birthday my parents co-signed on my dream car - a 1997 Camaro SS. For the next few years I customized the entire thing myself, teaching myself how to do the things I didn't already know. It became a full custom show car that entered and won more trophy's then I can count. This is when I decided that there was more to engines then just cars. I developed a love for everything with an engine.
In my spare time, I race motocross, snowmobile, 4-wheel and ride my Kawasaki Ultra 150 jet ski. Since there is only so much you can do to your own toys, I began helping friends and family better their rides. Simply by word of mouth my hobby quickly developed into a business...Poorboy Performance Inc. Its a business built with pride and dedication.
