| '96 nissan sentra-- fuel pump accessed under back | | '96 nissan sentra-- fuel pump accessed under back seat. there is a black cover screwed down on this access. when this black cover is unscrewed it reveals a white plastic thing that has electrical plugs going into and the fuel lines attach. when this white plastic thing is pulled out it has a floater attached that deterimines the level of fuel in the gas tank. this white plastic thing has shorted out along with the electric connection to it. what is this white plastic thing called? what is the electrical connector called? and why would this short out? fuses in the car are correct to manufacturer's specifications. | |
