| Artificial enlightenment | | I have recently bought a transcranial magnetic stimulator which delivers magnetic pulses to the brain and encourages altered states of consciousness. I have heard it argued that using such artificial means as this or psychedelic drugs to achieve enlightenment is wrong as the only way to true enightenment is through the traditional methods of prayer, meditation and altruism. How do you feel about this? Is it acceptable to use drugs and technology as a shortcut to expansion of consciousness? | |

| | My 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee | | I recently purchased a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo for 4 wheeling with my family. So far I have installed an Aussie locker in the rear, and have a Rough Country 4" lift and 31X10.50R15 General Tire Adventuro M/Ts ready to go on once I find enough time to install them.My future plans are for bumpers, high lift jack, winch, adjustable pan hard bar, JKS sway bar disconnects, rock sliders and to put a 5.7L Hemi and tranny combo in with D44 axles with ARB lockers.Tell me about what you are doing to your 4X4! | | The Great Debate - Camaro, Mustang or Challenger? | | Even in a time plagued with incredible financial turmoil, there is little doubt that the automotive industry has found a niche that needed to be filled. Ford, who has never waivered in their commitment to the Pony Car, has produced a Mustang which might be considered "best in class" for at least the past 20 years. This new Mustang is sleek, with lines that take one back to the era when the muscle car was everything. Dodge and Chevy seemed to have picked up on their own lack of a vehicle in this market. 2008/9 now gives us the return of the dodge challenger, with aggressive lines and styling and a HEMI motor to put enough ponies out there to tear up the street. Chevy, who is the late comer to the party, is releasing the Chevy Camaro after a hiatis of more than 6 years. The returning Camaro is already being haled by some as "the ultimate muscle car." While the mock up of the Camaro used the "Transformers" movie certainly was cool, will the production car live up the the hype of it's concept car counterpart? Only time will tell.One thing is for certain though, the muscle car is back on the market. The question now is, which one would you... | |
