Can you make $200 a week online using basic tools?
I am not talking about any guru schemes here. Just basic simple tools and ideas. I wonder if people would believe anyone who told them how they could have been making good money for years. They would never get rich though, just comfortable. I don't think they would be believed. People want the magic button that will make them rich with zero effort. It has to be*rich* for most people. He would just be "The Fool on the Hill"
What kind of tools is your favorite in Photoshop?

Which is a better educational tools for children? books or internet?
This is a personal observation with my children. I noticed that since we had internet connection at home, I seldom see them using books for their assignments. They go straight to computer and search the net for the answers to their assignments. I once asked my daughter why? and she said, it is better using the net because it has many examples, better explanations and easy understanding for it has colorful illustrations. Thinking, I realized its true. But there are always disadvantages of using the net. Children will be tempted to open sites that are for adults only. Guidance of parents is always needed, what if like my case, I am always at the office. I mean I just think books is still better tool for children. It allows them to think further and to study harder. Can I hear from you MyLotters? Thanks.
Best anti-distraction tools.
I like to use sticky notes, and a time jar to help me stay productive. The notes get placed around my work area. They usually contain encouraging phrases or quotes regarding the task in which I am trying to complete. Sometimes, they even have one word phrases that trigger a memory that I would much rather not go into detail about. It's somewhat funny, but mostly embarrassing to think about. The jar is kinda like a swear jar. Instead of adding money for cursing, I add money for every 15 minutes I waste watching television or do anything else that just sucks time out of my day.Working from home gives me nothing to a metric ton of potential excuses to good off, when i could be getting more work done during the week. I'm willing to waste a few half hours every day, and use the money to get some dvds or something at a later date.do you use any anti-distraction tools to help you stay productive? What are they, and what would be the best way to aplly said tools in a daily routine?

Education tools for children, or learning from play?
What do you think of all these tools out there for the under five set? Your baby can read, and hooks on phonics, flashcards galore. What do you think of these, does it help prepare your child for school? Is it a good use of his time? Is mixed play/learning the way to go.I like the Monetessori route, learning from play. Not structured play.
Essential Tools for the Self-Employed
I'm not sure how many of us here on MyLot are self-employed, but I'd like to ask, what are your Top 5 essentials, software, hardware or other things necessary for your work at home career? Here are mine:1. Laptop. Desktops may still be useful, but laptops really beat them in portability and convenience. If you zip zip zip through life, a laptop trumps a desktop anytime.2. Firefox. While Google Chrome and Safari also kick butt, I think that nothing beats Firefox's flexibility, its webpage rendering, and the fact that you can install so many add-ons on it. Oh yeah.3. Google Docs. I just can't live without it. I do almost everything there.4. Water. You really gotta hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Speaking of which, I better get off of MyLot and HYDRATE soon! 5. It's a toss-up between coffee and a good task list and even a good word processor, and even SmartBro. I think I'll have them all! Haha!-Coffee, always a great pleasure to have one, it's a bonus that it keeps you awake and PERKY!!! -Task list: TaskFive ROCKS. It keeps you on track with your to-do's. Now the trick is to keep yourself on task, as in execution. Heheh! -Word Processor: my pics are Bean.app...
What instant messaging or online communication tools do you use?
What do you use and tell us about its features and why you use it?I use Yahoo Messenger and Skype for instant messaging on my laptop, and Palringo for my mobile phone. When it comes to other communication tools, I just use Yahoo Mail and Gmail.I use Yahoo Messenger because it's what I've "grown up" to. It's user-friendly, not complicated, and has a lot of features like voice calling, webcam, sending files, games, etc.For Skype, I use it mainly for video calls, because it's much clearer and faster than YM when it comes to webcams.Palringo for mobile allows you to use a lot of instant messaging programs all at the same time, that's why I like it. It also has a lot of features, and it's nice. So, share to use the instant messaging and other online communication tools that you use, and why you use it? Tell us its features.:)ll have them all! Haha!-Coffee, always a great pleasure to have one, it's a bonus that it keeps you awake and PERKY!!! -Task list: TaskFive ROCKS. It keeps you on track with your to-do's. Now the trick is to keep yourself on task, as in execution. Heheh! -Word Processor: my pics are Bean.app for Mac...
Tools that will help you on your online earning campaign
Greetings everyone. This post is about tools that you can use in order to make your online earning life easier. I am going to mention tools that I use, so I do have personal experience on them. Let's start. Most of the tools are add-ons for Firefox. If you do not use Firefox, then do so.***PTC EARNERS***What's the difference between a successful PTC earner and a not successful earner? a) Number of referrals b) Investment capital c) He got golden membershipz! And the answer is: None of the above. The A and Z for earning in the PTC world, is to be O-R-G-A-N-I-Z-E-D. That's ORGANIZED.At the moment I am a member of 9 PTC sites. Imagine having to bookmark them at my toolbar. There is no space for that! I got other important stuff up there too! So what to do? Something that would be easy to locate, understand, and visualize. Ladies and gentleman, I introduce you the Speed-Dial Firefox Addon (not a referral link: https://addons.mozilla.org/el/firefox/addon/4810 )Speed dial is like your mobile's key-pad. You can make it your home page too. It has 9 keys (from 1-9) in which each one of them you can assign a website....
