| | Anyone frustrated with their 2002 Tacoma? | | I bought a 2002 Tacoma last summer, thinking that with only 45,000 miles on it the truck would last a long time and be a great vehicle. The engine is a 4 cyl and it's a 4wd. The catalytic converter has gone to heck, the muffler and tailpipe are all rotted out, the brake lines turned to dust while I was driving my 2- yr old to daycare. The clutch is starting to smell like it's going bad too. This vehicle was bought from a certified Toyota dealer, and it's having all these problems. I thought that Toyota was a great brand, that the SR5 was a higher end Truck and that we wouldn't have problems for a year or so while we're making payments on it. WRONG | |

| Professional driver on closed course? | | You have probably seen the fine print on the screen when a car ad is on TV. "Professional driver on closed course. Do not attempt." Ok, I understand if they show the car skidding or ripping through a turn, or even a truck in off-road terrain or stunts like in the Toyota truck ads. But most ads show normal driving on pretty country roads or city streets. What's to not attempt? Is there some legal reason for this disclaimer to be on all ads? Every vehicle I have owned I have attempted what the ad says to not attempt. Any thoughts? | |
| | Toyota beats GM in sales for January | | Ok, now this is said with a lot of Tongue in cheek, because even though MSN has reported this, along with various other news reports, it is only one month. (LOL)
I own a Toyota truck, so of course I pay attention to that stuff.
But, if I learned anything, it may not be a good time to buy Toyota right now, more than likely, to get the better deal, GM!;)they will have to lower their prices in order to get their quota back up.

| why we do get what we want in life | | Well one of the first reason is because we have forgoten how to ask. you have to be very detailed on what you want
you can't just say I want more money and it happens you have to give it more detail like i want $100,000 by june 20th ....
or I want a brand new red toyota truck and you have to see it in your mind and keep it there and learn to say thankyou for things that haven't shown up in your life yet but they will because you are attracting it to you
