| I've got diamonds at the meeting of my thighs | |
Has anyone ever complimented your "experience" between the sheets in such a way that you weren't exactly sure if it was a compliment or not?I just read this line in a poem someone posted on her discussion and it got me to thinking about some of the "compliments" I have received over the years from guys who have been fortunate to share in said experiences with me.Take this line for example "I've got diamonds At the meeting of my thighs"Wow. That is like 100 times better then telling me I have parts of my anatomy made of gold. But think about it. Diamonds are formed when carbon deposits are exposed to high pressure and temperature for prolonged periods deep within the earths CRUST! Doesn't sound like some place I would want my anatomy exploring if I were a guy.*shudders at the thought*I have also had my internal girlie parts referred to as "velvet clad vise grips" Sure velvet is soft and warm and smooth and sometimes feels fuzzy (time for a shave Cyn) but a VISE GRIP? Really? A vise grip. How many men reading this have crossed their legs and have an expression of OUCH on their faces right now?I know I am over... | |
| | Poor Rey | | I felt horrible when Rey Mysterio got the Vise Grip and started bleedin from mouth. I was readin where they didnt plan that, he was actualy bleedin out his mouth. But my man came to his rescue!!! And at least somethin good came out of it, its gonna be Khali vs. Mysterio{if he even shows} vs. Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship. I dont care who wins as long as Khali dont retain the title!!! | |

| Having a bad couple of days.....I gotta share the pain....LOL | | It has been a bit windy here during the last 48 hours. When the barometric pressure is this unstable my pain climbs all over me, but is not nearly as bad as it might be without my trusty vicodin, flexeril, and etodolac. If you can imagine someone exposing a nerve from your neck and then clamping a vise grip on it, that is how the pain feels. If I can avoid moving it doesn't intensify much, but it sucks not being able to move around as I like. A few muscle spasms create a new layer every few minutes and everything comes to a screeching halt until they pass. For those of you who also deal with conditions that cause chronic pain, is March one of the toughest months? | |
| | made in US | | A few years ago an Italian friend of mine travelled by train from Boston to Providence. She had only been in AmeriAca for a couple weeks and hadn't seen much of the country yet. She arrived looking astonished. "It's so ugly!"People from other rich countries can scarcely imagine the squalor of the man-made bits of America. In travel books they show you mostly natural environments: the Grand Canyon, whitewater rafting, horses in a field. If you see pictures with man-made things in them, it will be either a view of the New York skyline shot from a discreet distance, or a carefully cropped image of a seacoast town in Maine. How can it be, visitors must wonder. How can the richest country in the world look like this?Oddly enough, it may not be a coincidence. Americans are good at some things and bad at others. We're good at making movies and software, and bad at making cars and cities. And I think we may be good at what we're good at for the same reason we're bad at what we're bad at. We're impatient. In America, if you want to do something, you don't worry that it might come out badly, or upset delicate social balances, or that people might think you're getting above... | |
